This DVD shows in 3D animated graphics the refrigeration cycle of an air conditioning unit. It will show how the refrigerant gas is compressed, how the refrigerant looses heat and turns into liquid in the condensing coil and how the refrigerant absorbs heat and turns into a gas. The DVD training material will cover such areas as how refrigerants work, types of compressors such as piston, rotary, screw, and centrifugal. Different types of expansion valves are studied as well as other operating components. The theory of basic absorption refrigeration is also covered.
