The PreTech CD-ROM-based diesel service training program is an informational diesel fuel injection course designed for technicians and students. It provides the user with basic diesel theory, pump and governor operation, nozzle and nozzle holder (injector) operation and repair, parts ID, and the use of metrics in the shop. The CD includes visuals and narration. A review guide for each module or lesson contains: an introduction describing the module; a statement of program objectives; a list of required special equipment; special instructions; and a review exercise. Programs are self-paced.
